Christmas shortbread

Ingredients

  • 140 g gluten-free buckwheat flour
  • 110 g cornstarch
  • 125g butter
  • 100 g of sugar
  • 1 egg
  • cookie cutters

- Preparation -

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 180°c. In a salad bowl mix the sugar and the egg.

2nd step

Add the buckwheat flour and cornstarch then mix.

Step 3

Cut your butter into small pieces and add it to your mixture then knead your dough until it is homogeneous.

Step 4

Let your preparation rest for an hour in the refrigerator.

Step 5

Spread your dough on your work surface using a rolling pin then cut out your shortbread using your cookie cutters.

Step 6

Bake your biscuits on baking paper at 180°C for around 20 minutes.

Optional

Add cinnamon to your preparation or sprinkle your cookies with icing sugar.
