Apple fritters
Ingredients
- 1 large apple or 2 small
- 60 g of Céliane Pastry Mix
- 40 g of milk
- 1 egg
- 20 g of applesauce
- 5 g of sweetener (agave syrup, honey, sugar)
- 2-3 g baking powder (gluten-free)
- Preparation -
Step 1
Prepare the dough by mixing the egg, milk, compote, pastry mix and sweetener.
2nd step
Peel the apple(s) and using an apple corer, remove the core.
Step 3
Cut slices at least 1 cm thick.
Step 4
Heat a frying pan over low/medium heat with a little oil or butter.
Step 5
Once the pan is hot, dip the apple slices in the batter, turn them over so they are well coated with the batter and place them in the pan.
Step 6
Cook for 3 to 5 minutes on each side, covered. If there is any batter left, cook it like a pancake.
Optional
Sprinkle with icing sugar and cinnamon or enjoy with maple syrup.
