Chocolate chunk brioche

Ingredients

  • 300 g of Céliane bread mix
  • 60g butter
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 150 ml of milk
  • 70 g of sugar
  • 100g chocolate chips
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

- Preparation -

Step 1

In a container, sift the bread mix . On the side, place the salt and sugar. Mix all the ingredients well.

2nd step

Incorporate the beaten egg and milk into the previous mixture then knead the dough. Then add the soft butter in pieces and knead again for a few minutes. The dough should be homogeneous, come away from the edges of the container and should not be sticky.

Step 3

Cover the dough with a damp cloth and let it rest at room temperature for 1 hour to 1 hour 30 minutes, until it doubles in size.

Step 4

Divide the dough into 6 identically sized balls. Roll out each ball one by one and garnish them with chocolate chips. Fold the ends toward the center, then roll them lengthwise.

Step 5

Place your dough balls next to each other in a mold then cover the mold with a damp cloth and let it rest again for 45 minutes to 1 hour.

Step 6

Preheat your oven to 180°C. Bake your brioche for around 30 minutes until it is golden brown. Let it cool slightly before eating it immediately.
