Pecan pie

Ingredients

For the tart base:

  • 75 g teff flour
  • 25 g of Céliane potato starch
  • 20 g buckwheat flour
  • 6 tbsp of water
  • 1 tbsp coconut sugar
  • 1 pinch of vanilla fleur de sel (optional)
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil (+ for the mold)
    For garnish :
  • 80 g brown sugar
  • 60 g of powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 180 g of maple syrup
  • 4 eggs
  • 50g coconut oil
  • 2 tbsp teff flour
  • 100 g pecans

- Preparation -

Step 1

In the tart base, put all the ingredients in a salad bowl and mix them with your fingertips then form a ball.

2nd step

Spread your dough and oil your mold then place your dough in this mold. Then prick your dough and bake for 15 minutes at 150°c.

Step 3

When your tart base is ready, place half of your pecans in the bottom.

Step 4

In a salad bowl, add the sugars, cinnamon, vanilla extract, salt and finally the maple syrup. Mix everything.

Step 5

Incorporate the rest of the ingredients i.e. eggs, coconut oil and teff flour. To finish, pour your preparation into your tart base and garnish it on top with the rest of the pecans.

Step 6

Bake your tart for 45 minutes at 180°c.
