Ingredients

  • 335 g of our Céliane pastry mix
  • 75 g of honey
  • 135 g brown sugar
  • 100g butter
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon or another spice of your choice
  • 1/3 case of baking soda
  • 1 egg
  • 3 g of salt
  • Cookie cutter in the shape of a man

- Preparation -

Step 1

Mix half of your pastry mix and the butter to obtain a shortbread dough. Add the rest of the mix, cinnamon, bicarbonate and salt. Mix everything while incorporating the sugar.

2nd step

Beat the eggs and honey and add it to your preparation, mixing gently with a spoon.

Step 3

Form a homogeneous ball with your hands. Stretch your dough to 3 mm thickness using your rolling pin.

Step 4

Take your cookie cutter and mark your fingerprints on your dough. Place your biscuits on a baking sheet.

Step 5

Finally, bake your biscuits at 180°C for 8 to 12 minutes so that the gingerbread is nicely browned.
