Avocado and poached egg toast
Ingredients
- 2 nice slices of our sourdough bread
- 1 avocado
- 1 tbsp lime juice
- 1 pinch of crushed chili pepper
- 2 tbsp chopped chives for decoration
- Salt, pepper
- 1 egg
- A few sunflower seeds or walnuts
- Preparation -
Step 1
Cook the eggs in boiling water for 5 minutes.
2nd step
Remove the eggs from the pan and plunge them into a bowl of cold water to stop the cooking.
Step 3
Place the avocado in a bowl with the lemon, chili pepper, chives, salt, and pepper. Make a purée (more or less smooth depending on your taste).
Step 4
Toast the slices of our sourdough bread in a toaster or in the oven (in grill mode).
Step 5
Spread the avocado puree on the toast. Peel the eggs, place them on the toast, and cut them in half (if you do it the other way around, all the yolk will escape).
Step 6
Add some sunflower seeds or walnuts and a little chives.
